This towel started the same way a lot of NonKempet ideas do — with a feeling before a product. Virginia Beach has always been more than a destination for me. It’s a place that slowed me down when everything else was pulling. Salt in the air, feet in the sand, nothing to prove. Just being present. That energy is baked into this towel.
Front and center it says “I ❤️ Virginia Beach”, and inside that heart is NonKempet. It’s that same I love my city / I love my life / I love where I’m at energy — but done in a way that feels timeless.
I wanted this towel to feel like something you bring with you, not something you buy and forget. Something that lives in your trunk all summer. Something that gets sandy, salty, sun-bleached, andbetter because of it. The kind of towel that’s there for early mornings, long afternoons, and those moments where you just sit back and let the waves do their thing.
NonKempet has always been about how I move through the world. What I wear, where I go, how I reset. This towel fits right into that. It’s for beach days that turn into sunset talks. For laying back after a swim. For post-surf, post-run, post-life moments when you just need to breathe.
